Every year, we host our annual summer Open Weekend. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year, with all proceeds going towards the care and rehabilitation of the thousands of animal emergencies we respond to.
Our founder, Simon Cowell, very kindly gives us his garden for the weekend, so that we can offer a fun and entertaining experience for all the family. With stalls and activities for young and old alike, you can enjoy local arts & crafts, photography and much more. From learning how to make bird feeders to buying beautiful artwork – there are plenty of activities for children and adults, alike! There will be plenty to eat and drink too, including a craft beer stall!
It provides a unique opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at one of the UK’s leading wildlife hospitals. You will also get to meet some of our volunteers and talk to them about their experiences of looking after sick and injured wildlife.
Admission is £5 per person, per day (under 5’s go free).
Main entrance tickets can only be purchased on the day.
Where to park
Free car parking is available in the field on Springfield Drive next to the hospital, kindly donated for the day by KBR Leatherhead. For those on foot, we are just a short walk from Leatherhead town centre & train station.
Limited disabled parking is available in the main Wildlife Aid car park, please ensure you display your blue badge.
We respectfully request that visitors do not park in the cemetery or crematorium.
Tickets for hospital tours will be exclusively available online from 6th June 2023.
Tickets are just £3 each and under 5’s go in free.
Unfortunately, no dogs are permitted except working guide dogs.
Dogs must not be left in vehicles under any circumstances.
If the weather dictates that we need to move or cancel Open Weekend then we will give as much notice as possible. Please do keep checking this website for updates as we get nearer to the event.
