Writing the Wandle

Join local writer Becky for a creative writing workshop inspired by the River Wandle and her personal experience of writing the river.

Starting and finishing at Honeywood Museum, Becky will lead participants on a walk around Carshalton Ponds and along the Wandle in Grove Park, stopping at points for short writing exercises engaging memory and the senses. No writing experience necessary, just a willingness to connect with the river and creativity. There’ll be an opportunity to share work throughout the session if desired. Please bring your own writing materials.
