🌹🎨 **Beginners Acrylic Paint & Sip – The Sun, Carshalton!**

Hello Everyone!

I’ll be running a **Beginners Acrylic Painting workshop this Thursday**, inspired by Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s beautiful *Roses in a Vase*! 🙂

📅 **Thursday 29 October | 7–9pm**
📍 **The Sun, Carshalton** @thesuncarshalton

We’ll begin with a simple line drawing, exploring proportions and positive and negative space, before moving on to colour mixing, layering and expressive brushwork.

Taking inspiration from Renoir’s beautiful floral painting, we’ll explore glowing reds, soft pinks and creamy highlights, learning how to mix colours and build up tonal values.

We’ll experiment with loose layering, expressive brushwork and impasto techniques to create luminous, textured flowers with a sense of depth and movement.

✨ **Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to develop their painting skills!** There’ll be plenty of guidance along the way.

Whether you fancy trying something new or simply enjoying a relaxed and creative evening, come along with a friend or on your own – everyone is welcome!

🎟️ **Book your place on Eventbrite:**

Please let me know in advance if you’re planning to come, even if it’s only on the day, so I can have everything prepared for you.

Looking forward to painting and catching up with you soon! 🙂

All best wishes,

Catherine 🎨💕
