The people behind Nickel Support and Interestingly Different at Beynon Parade, are developing a building connected to Carshalton’s wartime history.
The central spot in The Square is handily placed next to a public car park.

The building was commandeered during ww2, as reported by Secret Carshalton, though for a long time it has been used as a storage lock up.
However the vision of Nick Walsh and architect Andrew Smythe have created this wonderful wooden fronted design, reminiscent of the old shops found in the surrounding area.

What exactly is going to be in the new building is still under wraps, but we’re sure it will be a wonderful addition to Carshalton.

As well as Nickel Support and Interestingly Different they also run the tea room at the Whitehall in Cheam.
Completion is currently expected in January 2027.
