Football fans in and around Carshalton and Banstead might be closer to Arsenal and England star Declan Rice than they think, with a TikTok video showing the £240,000-a-week midfielder outside Woodmansterne Fish & Grill.
Rice, who was born in Kingston upon Thames and has links to Banstead, is seen outside the takeaway on Woodmansterne Street, talking about the shop.

Online accounts have claimed that his favourite order is a crispy chicken burger or a mixed lamb and chicken shish.
The family-run takeaway is a rather more down-to-earth dining choice than you might expect for a footballer earning a reported £12.48 million a year in basic salary at Arsenal, before bonuses and lucrative sponsorship deals.

Rice is also said to enjoy a round of golf at nearby Kingswood Golf Club.
So, while he might be worth millions, it seems that a local takeaway could still be on the menu for one of football’s biggest names.

Salary figures are estimates. Claims about Rice’s favourite food order and golfing habits have not been independently verified.
