Circa 10,000 People fill out Carshalton Park for Firework Spectacular

*Updated* The drizzle didn’t spoil this fantastic family event in Carshalton Park. Thousands gathered to watch the laser show, followed by an incredible firework and light display, all accompanied by music.

This evening’s popular occasion was organised by a passionate local group called the Wallington and Carshalton Round Table – run by volunteers. It takes a lot of planning and is an expensive event to pull together – insurance, fencing, fireworks, laser equipment etc. Ruskin Road was closed to traffic causing delays and queues on surrounding roads, but was essential for the safe running of the event. How much was raised will be announced.
