How to use the groups
Overview
Our groups generally work in a similar way to most social media.
How to take part
To take part you will first need to register. You will then receive an email to verify your details. Your email is private.
Post to a group
To post and comment in a group, you will need to join the group first.
Invite friends
We have many members passionate about our local area. Add them as a friend to be able to tag them in your posts and comments.
Add images
You can upload images up to 1000mb in file size – please generally keep them as small as possible. You can’t currently add video but you can link videos from third parties such as YouTube
Group rules
Topic ideas include the following:
New and old photos, history, stories, your connection to the area, things you love…
Advertising
Only allowed for premium members.
Events
Only to be shared to our events page – for free.
