A Friends of Honeywood Museum Event
A talk from John Birkett, RSPB, Croydon Local Group
When considering ‘Birds of Prey’ thoughts go to those that hunt and kill other birds and animals, but several of them are scavengers, helping to clean up the landscape. And there are many birds out there that might be considered as born killers, but are not officially birds of prey. Some are just parasitic, but deprive others of a meal!
This illustrated talk will look at various species that are predatory, including not just the raptors, but owls, shrikes, corvids and a few other groups.
Seats £6 (£7 Non Members) – refreshments free
