Sutton Model Engineering Club and Miniature Railway Track Day from 1:00pm until 4:00pm – Visitors welcome to our maximum capacity.
During the public running afternoon, we aim to provide miniature train rides on the ground level and raised tracks, potentially with both live steam and battery powered locomotives, but this is dependent upon availability of members to provide and run locomotives, and, of course, the weather.
Please also note that if you are planning on visiting us, there is no parking capacity for visitors on site, and there is limited parking available in the surrounding local roads. If you do park in local roads, please be considerate of our neighbours. At the time of writing, there is free parking available in Sutton Common Park, SM3 9EN (the entrance is in Sutton Common Road, opposite Gillian Park Road) and is a short walk away from the club, however, please make yourself aware of the parking requirements posted on notice boards in the car park and be aware that the park (and car park) is locked up at dusk, so you will need to ensure that your car is removed from the car park before then. Bus numbers 80 and 93 stop close to our location (alight at the Stonecot Hill crossroads where ASDA is located on the corner).
