Logo Fiasco Records was set up in the twilight months of 2022 with the intention of running as an online store specialising in music that is psychedelic, leftfield and/or ambient in style, whilst also selling a wider range of vintage/pre-loved vinyl at local pop-up events. Things started brightly, we sold a lot of great records, met a lot of lovely people, and there seemed to be a really positive reaction to what we were doing. Before long we were selling from the wonderful Corner Gallery in Carshalton Beeches, and now, two years on, we are thrilled to be able to say that we have our own shop, based at the equally wonderful, venue extraordinaire, the CryerArts Centre in Carshalton High Street.

With the increasing shift of emphasis from selling online to physical shop sales, we now stock a much greater range of musical styles and genres; from Jazz to Kosmische, Hard Rock to Disco, Folk, Soul, Soundtracks, Electronica, Shoegaze and beyond, with artists as diverse as Jimi Hendrix, The Clangers, Abba, Frank Zappa, Throbbing Gristle, Miles Davis, Gwenno, The Bonzo Dog Band, Mogwai, Dusty Springfield, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Stevie Wonder, The Wombles & AC/DC, and every label from Harvest to 4AD, Warp to Motown, Vertigo to Ghost Box, & Topic to Blue Note (maybe even the occasional K-Tel compilation!) Pretty much something for everyone hopefully; at least that’s what we aim for.
