Carshalton Jazz welcomes back, and playing together for the first time, two musicians who have delighted our audiences in the past.

Charlotte Glasson – Band leader, Saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist, Charlotte plays flute, Piccolo, Clarinet, Alto, Soprano, Tenor and Baritone Saxes and violin……and Saw!!.

Charlottes versatility is constantly in demand. She has played and toured with Roxy Music, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Claire Martin, Barry Adamson, Nerina Pallot, and Chris Hodgkins.

She played with the first Band to perform at the New O2 Co-op Arena in Manchester earlier this year.
Her recent album “Cosmos’ Cosmos” launched at the Pizza Express Soho has been widely acclaimed. Her musical vocabulary is subtle and endlessly versatile.

Tony Woods – Composer, Arranger and Award-winning Saxophonist.
Leader of the Tony Woods Project and The Avalon Trio who explore the possibilities of jazz arrangements and improvisation on Folk and Classical Music.
He has released five albums to great critical acclaim, resulting in interviews on BBC Radio 3, UK Jazz Radio and Jazz FM. He has performed at The Purcell Rooms, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Pizza Express jazz Club, and Ronnie Scotts. He has toured the UK extensively playing at the Manchester London, Swanage, Teignmouth, Ealing and Ascot jazz festivals.

Our events at CryerArts are very popular, we encourage you to buy your tickets in advance from the CryerArts website or via the links provided. We cannot guarantee availability on the night, however, when space is available, we will continue to offer tickets on the door.
These are £17.50 each, with payment by card or cash. If paying cash, we would ask you to bring the exact amount.

For concerts at CryerArts doors open at 7:00 pm with performances starting at 7:30. The Spotlight bar is open throughout the evening, with food being served before the show.

Where there is availability, we now offer tickets on the door to students aged 16-18 for £10 with student / school ID.
