Chestnut Sunday in Bushy Park

Join us for Chestnut Sunday, Bushy Park’s much-loved annual celebration! The day begins with a vibrant parade starting at 12:30 PM from Chestnut Avenue (Teddington Gate), leading to the main event area near the children’s playground.

Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of entertainment, history, and delicious food, perfect for families, history enthusiasts, and the local community. Highlights include:

• Family Activities – Pony rides, classic games, and nature-themed fun.
• Explore Bushy Park – Discover the park’s rich wildlife and history through interactive displays.
• Arena Show – Horse riding demonstrations from the Horse Rangers.
• Live Music – Performances by the Yeomanry Concert Band, Rock Choir, and Surbiton Marching Band.
• D-Day Exhibit – Special displays commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE-Day.
• Local Charities & Community Groups – Meet and support fantastic local initiatives.
• Food & Drink – A wide variety of food options, including pizzas, ice cream, and coffee.

• Chestnut Avenue and car parks will be closed between 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM for the parade.
• Pheasantry Café car park accessible via Teddington Gate.
• Event car parks accessible via Hampton Court Gate.
