What would you dress the Wandle in?
Join LORE for a playful community workshop exploring the memories, stories and relationships people have with the River Wandle.
Together, we will transform reclaimed materials into masks, costumes and river decorations, collectively creating a celebratory object for the Wandle. You might bring a memory of the river, a story, something you’ve noticed while walking along it — or simply come curious and make with us.
No artistic or craft experience is needed. All ages and generations are welcome.
The workshop is completely free and uses reclaimed materials (you are welcomed to bring your own), creating a space for making, storytelling, meeting neighbours and celebrating the river together.
