The Sutton Parks Landscape Artist of the Year exhibition ended today. A lovely idea that celebrates our beautiful open spaces. It’s a competition enjoyed by all those who enter.

The whole initiative was expertly organised by Muriel, the chairman of the Friends of Beddington Park.
The artistry took place over the summer across 6 parks and the overall winners were announced at the exhibition at Sutton Central Library this month.

Keep an eye out for next year’s event – it’s open to professionals and amateurs alike – so why not give it a go. We think it’s a wonderful reason to get outside and share our love of the area.
The art competitions and exhibitions were run in partnership with 6 Park Friends groups. So many thanks to the Friends of Oaks Park, the Friends of Rosehill Parks, Manor Park Friends Group, The Friends of Poulter Park, the Friends of Carshalton Park and the Friends of Beddington Park.
