The Sound Lounge in Sutton opened back in 2021 and this is the first time we’ve been in. We were greeted by a quirky selection of chairs and tables. This post is part of our Eye on Sutton series.
It has a wonderful bohemian interior and is a cosy place to stop for a coffee and a snack during a trip to Sutton town centre.
At the front by the window is a small area to browse and buy records, on your left is a music stage.
As well as holding music-themed events throughout the year the Sound Lounge also serves a selection of vegan food.
Overall it’s an informal and relaxed atmosphere with a much-needed (for Sutton) independent vibe.
