I think that is the Grove ,, yo can just make out the sunken garden on the right and many of the trees are still there .. I love Carshalton…..
Do we think this image is The Grove? Without railings. I’m not sure
I’ve still got the originals somewhere. I’ll see if I can find them as there may be a date on the back. I’ve noticed that others from my parents collection were obviously images captured well before they bought them so perhaps nobody minded?

I believe that the pictures are per 1960 may be pre war or 1940
Thanks for your comment. I think you could be right that it’s earlier, especially looking at the old car…
