You can visit Sutton Ecology Centre in Carshalton anytime. The entrance is at the corner of Carshalton Ponds to the right of Honeywood Museum.

The area is 1.3 hectares and it opened to the public as a nature reserve in 1989. It has a long and varied history, and as far back as 1590 it was known as Cook’s Orchard.

Sutton Ecology Centre is managed by Sutton’s Biodiversity Team in partnership with Sutton Nature Conservation Volunteers sncv.org.ok and on Facebook. Eco local runs The Old Lodge building and is restoring the walled garden behind that.
