This is comedian and actor David Mitchell, walking down the corridor of the Thomas Wall Centre in Sutton. The location was used for Episode 5 of the BBC drama Ludwig. The murder took place at a posh public school, and the program makers chose the Thomas Wall Centre as the backdrop.

This was the exterior used for the old school, and it does have a passing resemblance to the Thomas Wall Centre.

The Thomas Wall Centre was built around 1910, funded by the man who owned Wall’s sausages and Wall’s ice cream. Both are household names. Thomas Wall lived at a house called Blythewood in Worcester Road, Sutton.
The Thomas Wall Centre is at 52 Benhill Avenue, Sutton, SM1 4DP
