*Local Walks* You can take the train to, or park at, Woldingham Station, being about 30 minutes in the car from Carshalton. This is the start of a reasonably steep circular walk around the edge of the village. It takes in some of the huge grounds of Woldingham school along with surrounding farm land.
See if you can spot cows with cute turned down horns, in fields opposite Knights garden centre.
We also took in a small detour to see the village green and shops.
