It’s about 15 minutes walk from Dorking Station, or 30 minutes by car from Carshalton. We parked at Dorking Halls and walked up the road to the start of the free walk.

The big old house was demolished in the 1960s, but you can still wander the grounds and spot the old family mausoleum which was once covered with concrete and buried by the council in the 1960s, but restored in 2015.
