A walk around the Wilderness Island Nature Reserve

Take a pictorial walk with me around Wilderness Island in Carshalton. Along narrow paths, across rickety bridges and see old ponds, rustic logs and the River Wandle idling by.

Wilderness Island is a wonderful place for a relatively small nature reserve, it has a multitude of paths to explore. Its a very quiet reserve & feels remote but is enclosed within a semi urban area. For those with limited mobility , is a 10 minute walk from Westcroft Leisure Centre carpark to the reserve.
