😥🌳 Sorry to see this tree in Carshalton High Street has had to be taken down. Foliage always make an area look inviting.

Here’s an update from Elliot Colburn MP via Secret Carshalton instagram, regarding why the tree was removed.
Street trees coming down in the area and not being replaced are on my radar, especially street trees being removed and filled in with tarmac – and then being forgotten. Trees enrich our area in so many ways and it’s something I’m keeping a close eye on… comment here if it matters to you too.
