*Walks* It’s been a while since I’ve shared a walk, and this is one of the most spectacular. It’s about 20-30 minutes by car from Carshalton, but you can also take this 6-mile circular stroll starting at Boxhill and Westhumble station. So great for non-drivers too.
🗝️ This trail starts with a climb (if you start from the train station) to hilltop views and takes you through woodland vistas.

🗝️ Reach the marvellous viewpoint over the North Downs at Denbies Hillside, before taking in the architecturally fascinating octagonal tower of St Barnabas church at Ranmore Common. Designed by George Gilbert Scott, perhaps most famous for the gothic London St Pancras Station.

🗝️ Finally reach the end of the walk, by descending through the impressive Dorking vineyard, known as Denbies Wine Estate. See vineyards spread out for miles in front of you. If you time it right you can stop off to taste some fine English wine or drink a quick cuppa.
